CardioBarre and Lole Bloggers' Night

Last Thursday night we had the best of both worlds...We were surrounded by other bloggers who were all gathered together for a fun CardioBarre workout, and.... Lole was in the house!!!

Keri and I were so excited to get our hands on the Barre and try to lengthen our tight, short muscles. (we missed Jess, she was off to taxi her cute kids around town)
This was my second Barre workout ever, and I can tell you that I need to do it more often. I remember saying this the last time, that I swore I'd make more of a routine to stretch and add flexibility to this runner's body of mine.
For those of you not familiar with CardioBarre and what the hype is all about you need to get in and try it for yourself. Cardio Barre is a unique, high energy/no impact exercise that combines barre work and light weights with continual fat-burning motion. Central to the workout are toning and resistance exercises for the butt, legs, torso, and arms to sculpt muscles and elongate the appearance of your body. This fat-burning, muscle-scuplting sensation isn't any of the usual suspects- no punching, no kicking, no jumping up and down, just exercise that lengthens and strengthens your muscles.

What you could look like in Cardio Barre

What we looked like.

The facility is brand new and very clean and inviting. It is located in the new shopping center and Quarry Bend. I loved the size of the room, there was plenty of room for us to move around and not feel cramped. The instructor was amazingly fit, energetic and inviting. She motivated me to want to move like her and didn't make me feel any more awkward than a non dancer would feel. There was even a second instructor to watch if you needed. (and I did)

One of my favorite parts of the class was the abdominal portion. Keri and I were busy trying to spread the word via FB/Instagram/Twitter...hence the picture of Keri caught with her phone in hand. We even got to exercise our kegels and had a few giggles right along side each other.

You can find great benefits form attending CardioBarre. Check out there schedule and prices online at CardioBarre Quarry Bend.

The other big highlight to the evening is that Lole was a co-sponsor of the event. For those of you not familiar with Lole, lets talk!! New to Utah and the only store open in the United States at this time, WELCOME LOLE SALT LAKE CITY!!!!

This beautiful Atelier (store in french) is located in the shopping center of the corner of 106th south and River Front Parkway in South Jordan, Utah. At Lole you will find a welcoming community as well as a line of clothing that is much more than a line of activewear- it is an entire lifestyle that encourages women to be their BEST SELVES by leading active, engaged lives. LOLE's mission is to help women to Live Out Loud Everyday by getting out, betting active and getting involved in their communities. Because nothing makes you more beautiful, inside and out.

LOLE also believes that they can create communities that make a profound and positive impact on lives...and on the world we all share.

This is just one of the many things that I love about Lole. If you haven't already, become a friend on their FB and like them on Instragram @lolesaltlake.  Lole holds regular, free "Meet Up's" (classes) lead by some of the area's best instructors. Nothing better than to be a part of a positive community and get to know other people that share your same interests and love for active, fit healthy lifestyles.

I am lucky enough to be a Brand Ambassador for Lole and look forward to meeting you and sharing my love for those things that make me tick, and finding out what makes you tick too!!

Stay tuned...we have a special giveaway for a Lole and Cardio Barre Quarry Bend on Monday.

Already looking forward to our next Cardio Barre class.
