Apple Cinnamon Jam
2 c. apples - peeled, cored, and steamed
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 T. lemon peel
1 T. lemon juice
Place ingredients in jar in the order listed and secure the lid.
Press the pulse button for 10 seconds, or until ingredients are blended.
Then add:
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. liquid Pectic
Directions: Combine above ingredients in separate container and mix. Add to a blender jar and secure the lid. Press the Soups button. Seal and refrigerate or freeze.
Tropical Salsa
1 large grapefruit - peeled
2 medium oranges - peeled
1/2 medium mango - peeled, pitted
1/2 small red onion - peeled
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1/2 large chili pepper
1 T. cilantro
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. olive oil
Place ingredients in jar in order listed and secure the lid. Press the pulse button 5 to 10 times!
Nut Milk
3/4 c. nut of choice
Directions: Make sure jar is completely dry. Add ingredient and secure the lid. Press the Speed Up button until blender reaches speed 10. Allow the cycle to run for 30 seconds. When the display reads 30 seconds, press any lower row button to stop. You may need to use a rubber spatula to scrap the ingedients off the sides of the jar. Move ingredients towards the center of the jar, and if necessary hold down the Pulse button for 10 seconds until peanuts are blended to a paste.
3 3/4 c. purified water - room temperature
3 t. molasses (or omit for unsweetened)
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t salt
Add above ingredients to jar and secure the lid. Press the Whole Juice button.
Allow the blender to run a complete cycle.
Coconut 'n Banana Smoothie
1/3 c. coconut milk
1/4 c. milk (I use almond milk)
1/2 c. pineapple
1 banana - peeled, broken in half
1 c. ice
Place ingredients in jar in order as listed and secure the lid. Press the smoothie button.
Tasty Taco Soup
2 c. hot water
1 Roma tomato - cut in half
1 rib celery stalk - cut in half
1 carrot - cut in half
3 T. popcorn kernels
1 T. dry kidney beans
1 T. taco seasoning
1 chicken boullion cube
1/8 t. salt
1.8 t. pepper
Place above ingredients into blender jar in order as listed and secure the lid. Press the Soups button.
Add corn, beans, cooked chicken, etc.
Press the Pulse button 3 times until additional ingredients are blended in soup.
Gazpacho
1 large tomato - quartered
1/2 cucumber - peeled and cut into 3" pieces
1/2 small onion
1/2 green bell pepper - keep seeds
1 1/2 c. canned tomato juice
3 T. red wine vinegar
2 T. olive oil
Dash Tabasco sauce
1/8 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
Place above ingredients into blender jar and secure the lid. Press the Soups button.
