Spring Running & What to Wear

I know!! It has been awhile since we posted BUT we will start back up. We have been keeping you all up to date on Instagram.



Today we went on Good Things Utah and had fun talking about Spring Running & What to Wear! I even got to bring my daughter Brynlee along for the fun. If you missed it, click the link below and enjoy!! And as always, you can find the notes we talked about here too!



What should you wear when you’re running outside? Especially during the Springtime in Utah where it is sunshine one day and snow the next? The answer is pretty straightforward in the months of sunshine and snow but what do you do in-between? Here are a few ideas for what to wear for the variable Spring weather!

For Cold Days: 32 degrees and below 
*Or if you are like me...more like 40's!! *
Tights
Base Layer
Vest or Jacket 
Warmer Socks (possibly wool)
Shoes
Gloves 
Ear Warmer or Hat

**Hats are a great way to preserve warmth, as up to 70% of body heat is lost through the top of your head. So if temps are really cold, cover your head and wear a hat or ear warmer. On the other hand, when it is hot outside, make sure your head is free and your body is able to release heat through your head.

For Moderate Days: 32-60 degrees
Capris
Tank
Base Layer that you can shed
Gloves 
Ear Warmer
Wicking Socks

For Warm Days: 60-100 degrees
Shorts
Tank
Visor
Lightweight Socks

Utah is awesome and beautiful during the springtime but the weather can be variable. Just make sure you are prepared and it will always be enjoyable!
